Summer 2010 07/03/2010
I have to apologize for not writing for so long. Here it is midsummer already. The fishing seasons are in now and we’ve been busy taking in trophies from around Michigan. I actually took a trophy of my own this summer, a beautiful gold fish from the Grand River. As much as this fish means to me, I have to admit that I have taken five others that are still waiting to be mounted. I think being a taxidermist is a lot like a plumber or electrician, their plumbing and wiring is the last to be done. I have nine deer of my own to be mounted yet………… and so it goes. Commentsdave Sat, 31 Jul 2010 05:51:34 No kidding, understand about the shortage of time, I can not believe it is the last day of July!!! Where do the days go. We have been at the cottage all this week with our grandsons while Heather and Allen vacationed in Los Vegas. Am taking the boys to Bobs to see Dave Rozema (pitcher for Tigers) and then back home. Have not touched the rentals (much to my tennants dismay) and still have loads of stuff to do on the farm. The boys and I did manage to get a new tree house (aka tree stand) started but the HOT weather forced us to stop. We (the boys) caught some fish this week one decent bass and had lots of laughs getting lines untangeled...got to go,,,,later dave Leave a Reply |
