About Us

In 2000, Hamilton's Taxidermy moved from our previous location in Bath, MI to our present location in Nashville, MI. Our new studio is located on sixty-eight acres of fabulous wildlife habitat, which gives us a great opportunity to study various North American species in their natural environment. Our complete facility is a non smoking environment.
Is it alive?

Bobby Hamilton is a member of the National Taxidermists Association and a very active and former board of Directors member of the Michigan Taxidermists Association (MTA). He is both state and federally licensed. Bobby has exhibited his award-winning work in numerous competitions.
Bobby is an annual contributor to the MTA Dream Makers project which collects money through drives and sponsored events, in order to send a terminally ill or or physically challenged Michigan child on a hunting or fishing expedition of a lifetime.
Bobby served four years in the US Air Force and firmly believes that our military veterans should never be forgotten and that we can never do enough to thank them for our freedom. Through his work with the MTA, he gladly donates his time and talents annually by mounting a deer for a Purple Heart recipient from across our country.

This beautiful whitetail buck was taken by Bobby in Barry County, MI on October 25th at around 6:30 pm. The buck brings to fruition a lifetime quest for him to take a true trophy whitetail deer. The buck weighed 180 lbs dressed and had a spread of 22". After the rack is officially scored we'll post those stats here on the website. The rack is currently out to a commercial antler reproduction firm being molded for duplicates, which will be available for purchase through Hamilton's Taxidermy.
